ogon – RDP for Linux

There are some solutions for remote desktop access on Linux: Nomachine NX, x2go, VNC to name but a few. However there are other solutions that are much less known: One of them is ogon.

Ogon allows access to Linux desktops using Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

One of the biggest problems with ogon is the lack of easily installable packages (.deb, .rpm). Currently there’s only one way: compile the software yourself and try to figure out how to configure it.
